Dolphaine PH- lowering granulate is used to decrease the pH level of your pool when it rises above pH 7.6
It is essential that the alkalinity of the water is within the range of 80-120 ppm to maintain a stable pH. If the alkalinity is outside this range, the pH can easily be thrown out of balance by minor disturbances, such as a rainstorm or the addition of chlorine.
